Business Description

Esure are a UK based internet & telephone insurance company, providing motor, home & travel insurance. The company was founded by Peter Wood (who also founded Direct Line) in 2004. Esure also operates the 'Sheilas Wheels' brand - famous for it's TV adverts featuring three pink clad, sequin adorned, Aussie 'Sheilas', singing songs of motor insurance from their bubblegum pink convertible.

Esure was bought by Bain Capital for £1.2bn in 2018.
