Business Description

Amigo Loans is the market leader in guarantor backed term loans of up to £10,000 within the consumer finance market. The company was set up in 2000, listed on the LSE in June 2018 and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 index.

Approximately 63.5% of the company is owned by Richmond Group, which is in turn controlled by James Benamor, the founder of Amigo Loans. Amigo has recently secured a licence to begin lending in Ireland, and plans to start operations in the country before the end of March 2019.
