Rezaah Ahmad

Founder and Executive Director

As Founder and Executive Director Rezaah is responsible for driving the strategic growth of WiseAlpha.

Rezaah is an entrepreneur who started his career in the M&A and Leveraged finance teams at Deutsche Bank. He helped structure and execute numerous multi-billion debt financing and advisory transactions. He then worked at a multi-billion hedge fund investing in senior secured loans, high yield bonds and distressed debt. Rezaah has also been a board director and strategic advisor to TeleColumbus, a large cable television business in Germany.

Rezaah studied Economics at the University of Cambridge and Management at the Judge Institute, University of Cambridge.

Aidan Hamade

Chief Technology Officer

Aidan spent 6 years working as a development manager and solutions architect building custom applications for multinationals including HSBC, Deutsche Bank and ANZ.

In 2012 he co-founded a digital agency, Guerilla Software, working alongside Google Ideas and Shine Group designing and creating web based platforms using simple and intuitive solutions focusing on modern web patterns.

Aidan studied Mathematics with Artificial Intelligence and graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2002.

Christian Kirkham

Head of UX & Design

Christian has created exceptional products for companies such as Nike, TAG Heuer, AKQA and Rolls-Royce throughout his professional career. Inspired by ethnography having lived and worked in 4 countries, he is an avid traveller with his finger on the pulse of world technologies.

His diverse specialities include 8 years of UX & design, coupled with product management, front-end development and business experience.

Tim Ganie

Managing Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships

Tim is leading the strategic growth of WiseAlpha and heads up customer service. He is engaging with partners across globe such as Banks, IFA’s, Wealth Managers, Private Banks, FinTechs and Brokers, to increase growth.

For over a decade Tim has worked in wealth management, advising some of the wealthiest people in the UK, including C-Executives, Entrepreneurs and Finance Professionals, whilst working for both Citi and Coutts. As a business leader, he is driving forward the growth of WiseAlpha.

Tim holds a degree in Economics and the industry qualifications IMC and PCIAM. He also has an interest in education and volunteers as a school Governor.

Edward Davis

Credit Analyst

Edward has twenty years of banking experience. He started his career in JPMorgan Chase asset management in the investment risk management team. He pursued his career as an analyst firstly at Mizuho in Leverage Finance then in the FIG team at BNPParibas during the credit crunch. He then went onto to work at HSBC and SMBC.

He has covered a wide array of sectors including commodities, industrials, insurance & banks.

An avid sportsman having represented his county board at cricket.

Mykyta Pavlushyn

Business Analyst Associate

Mykyta is an ambitious and hardworking Economics with Accounting graduate from the City, University of London.

Nik (as we call him in WiseAlpha) was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and has had multiple internships in the biggest Ukrainian and multinational companies, including Carlsberg, MHP and OTP Group.

He joined WiseAlpha in September 2019 as a Business Analyst. He helps manage day to day operations, is involved in marketing, oversees customer service and works closely with the Credit team.

Callum Clarke

Business Analyst

Callum joined WiseAlpha after graduating from the University of Aberdeen with an MA (Hons) in Economics & Finance.

Callum reviews and updates the financials of the companies in our marketplace, produces marketing materials for new listings and supports senior credit professionals with the identification and appraisal of prospective listings. He also works within the sales team to develop and manage client relationships and shares his knowledge via the WiseAlpha blog.

Sanzhar Rashidov

Financial Controller

Sanzhar is a great specialist in his field with experience in Big 4 Audit (Deloitte), Investment banking at VTB Capital as Product Controller and Operations Analyst in Commodities (Copper and other industrial metals). As a Product Controller, he prepared, investigated and provided commentaries of drivers for daily P&L reports within variety of financial products, as well as prepared consolidated revenue reports to the management of the bank.

At WiseAlpha, he is responsible for employing and developing internal controls, financial models, budgeting/forecasts and supervision of external audit engagements.

Sanzhar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management (Kingston University, accounting and finance focused) and Master's in Investment and Risk Finance (University of Westminster).

Andrew Barrett

Principal Engineer

Andrew started his career writing device drivers for routers and switches, and moved onto creating disruptive applications for the web.

In 2012 he co-founded a digital agency, Guerilla Software, working alongside Google Ideas and Shine Group designing and creating web based platforms using simple and intuitive solutions focusing on modern web patterns.

A lifelong technology enthusiast he started programming from a young age and has been working at the forefront of the web technology industry ever since. He holds a BSc (Hons 1st) from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Christopher D'Cunha

Senior Software Architect

Chris is a technical architect and hands-on software engineer with a proven track record in automating infrastructure and developing micro-services with REST APIs.

He helped scale zonza.tv for Hogarth by developing a re-architected and automated infrastructure, config management, orchestration/operations such that it is now scalable and profitable.

Chris studied Electrical Engineering at McGill University - Montreal.

Artem Slipets

Senior Software Engineer

Artem is an experienced Front-end developer who believes that a quality software product should be fast and user-friendly.

He started working with Web technologies back in school, studied Computer Networks and Information Technology at university and continuously works on improving his skills.
